Imari Bright - Youth Representative
Hello, my name is Imari Bright, and my Iñupiaq name is Puñathluq. I am originally from the Village of Solomon and was raised in Nome, Alaska. I take great pride in my cultural heritage and the values that have been passed down through generations of my family and community. Growing up in Nome surrounded by the ocean, tundra, and a strong sense of community has shaped who I am today and continues to inspire me in everything I do. Some of my favorite hobbies include berry picking, fishing, camping, traveling, photography, modeling, and baking. I love spending time out on the land and connecting with my culture through traditional activities, while also exploring my creative side through new experiences and self-expression. Quyanna for the opportunity to be seated on the Tribal Council as the Youth Representative. I look forward to learning, contributing, and working alongside others to support and uplift our community. It means a lot to me to have the chance to represent our people and to help make meaningful decisions that will benefit both present and future generations.
