Village of Solomon Annual Meeting Time Change

Attention Village of Solomon Tribal Members:

To allow those who wish to travel to Nome to attend the funeral service for our respected Elder, Helen Larsen, the 2026 Village of Solomon Annual Meeting has been rescheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.

We hope this adjustment will provide members the opportunity to participate in the Annual Meeting while also honoring Helen's life and legacy.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Helen's family and loved ones during this difficult time. We extend our deepest condolences and encourage those who are able to attend the service in remembrance of her.

The Curran children wish to announce the Celebration of Life for our beloved mother Helen Larsen.

Service will be:

Saturday- 8/8/2026.

4:00 pm. At Nome Covenant Church.

Committal Services will proceed at our dad’s grave where we will spread her ashes with her husband Peter Larsen.

Pot luck to follow at the fellowship hall at Covenant Church.

Everyone is welcome and asked to share a dish.
