Environmental Review Public Notice DOJ requirement

Due to the proximity of wetland-type areas to the project site, DOJ regulations require us to complete an 8-Step Decision-Making Process in accordance with Executive Order 11990 (Protection of Wetlands) and 28 CFR Part 63. As part of this process, two public notices are required. The first is an Early Notice that lets the public know about the proposed project near wetlands and provides an opportunity to submit comments or concerns during a 15-day public comment period. The second notice will come later and can be posted at the same time as the Draft Environmental Assessment public notice.
